Princeton Strategic Communications together with WSW (Winning Strategies Washington) and Princeton Public Affairs Group was recognized for “Best Cause Advocacy” in Ragan’s PR Daily’s 2014 Digital Awards for their TheRacetoYes.Org campaign raising national awareness regarding new therapies for children facing Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Awards finalists included the Chandler Chicco Agency for Novartis Pharmaceuticals and the Association of American Medical Colleges. The centerpiece of the campaign involved gathering over 106,000 online signatures within 30 days using the White House petition portal. The FDA commissioner publicly acknowledged the campaign and took concrete steps toward accelerated approval for a promising therapy.
Noted Norris Clark, managing partner of Princeton Strategic Communications, “Of course we love seeing our professional efforts acknowledged and awarded, but the real reward will be seeing the children get access to these safe and effective therapies.”
